Deep Work Week , 2026
What can an 11,000 m² building in the heart of Brussels’ European Quarter become?
Over the course of a week, we conducted a historical contextualisation study of the neighbourhood, articulated through architectural and spatial analysis.
We mapped the potentials, the stakes, and the network of stakeholders connected to this building.
On Saturday 28/02, we shared the results of this collective work aimed at revealing the potential of a building located in this strategic area of Brussels — a territory strongly shaped by the presence of European institutions, but also by dynamics of vacancy, transformation and urban change.
For the occasion, Lorenzo Tripodi also produced a video visit of the building.
While the exercise focuses on this specific building, it also considers the broader urban context of the European Quarter, its transformations and its planning dynamics. Beyond this case study, the approach aims to formulate a reading framework and a methodology that can be applied to other buildings and other urban contexts.
Thank you to everyone who came to discover and discuss the results at 303 rue Haute, Brussels.
